COVID-19: Nigeria records 325 new infections

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has announced the confirmation of 325 fresh cases of Coronavirus disease infections in the country.

In its latest daily data published Saturday night, the agency said 292 patients recovered from the pandemic disease while 1 fatality was recorded nationwide.

The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 48,770, out of which 36,290 have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 974 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 325 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos (87), FCT (49), Gombe (28), Ebonyi (20), Plateau (19), Kwara (18), Enugu (17), Imo (12), Rivers (12), Kaduna (11), Ogun (10), Edo (9), Oyo (9), Ondo (8), Osun (8), Ekiti (4), Borno (1), Kano (1), Bauchi (1) and Nasarawa (1).
