Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, was missing when the Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus Disease stormed his office today.
Mr Osinbajo, according to Sun Newspapers, went into self-isolation having discovered that Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, who he sat close to recently has tested positive to the pandemic disease.
The paper reports that messrs Osinbajo and Kyari sat close to each other with the seat of Boss Mustapha, the Secretary of the Government of the Federation, being in-between them at the last Federal Executive Council meeting last week.
Mr Mustapha heads the president task force team which consists of ministers and top health experts.
Philip Obin, the aide of the vice president, posted a tweet which similarly corroborated with the claim of the paper.
Mr Obin said his principal has resorted to video conferencing while discharging his duties as the number two citizen of the country.
The tweet was accompanied by three photos which showed other participants distancing themselves from the vice president during the video conference.
