Coronavirus: Osun records first case, toll now 46 in Nigeria

With the confirmation of two new cases on Wednesday morning by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC), the total number of Coronavirus toll is now 46.

The NCDC in a statement said the two cases returned to the country in the last one week.

While Osun recorded its first case, Lagos added additional one to its already existing 29 cases.

Of the 46 confirmed, 43 are active cases, 2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded.

For a breakdown of cases by states in real time, Lagos leads with 30 cases, the Federal Capital Territory trailed behind with 8 cases, Ogun has 3 cases while Ekiti, Oyo, Edo, Bauchi and Osun all have one case each.
