New cases of Coronavirus disease have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Tuesday evening.
Announcing two new cases which raised the toll of the pandemic disease to 44, the NCDC said they have travel history to Germany and the United Kingdom.
Of the 44 confirmed cases, 41 are active cases while 2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded.
For the breakdown of cases by states, Lagos is still maintaining the lead with 29 cases, while the Federal Capital Territory trail behind with 8 cases, Ogun has 3 cases while Ekiti, Oyo, Edo and Bauchi has one case each.
