CJN Mohammed tests positive for COVID-19, flees to Dubai for treatment

Tanko Mohammed, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) has tested positive for the coronavirus disease.

Mr Mohammed’s status was made known by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria at the unveiling of the national headquarters of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) on Tuesday in Abuja.

Mr Saulawa said the top jurist is currently in United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he is receiving treatment for the pandemic disease.
