Buhari, security chiefs meet after robbery attempt on Gambari’s residence

President Muhammadu Buhari is in a meeting with security chiefs where the council is expected to review worsening insecurity across the nation.

The gathering comes twenty-four hours after a robbery attempt on the residence of his Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari, who resides close to the seat of power.

While the robbery attempt on Gambari’s residence took place on Monday, a previous one occurred last week Thursday at the residence of Abubakar Maikano, the administrative officer at the seat of power, presidential spokesman Garba Shehu claimed.

The lastest meeting is taking place at the Conference Hall of the Office of the First Lady, after previous ones on Friday, April 30, and Monday, May 4.
