Buhari regime says nationwide insecurity over; bandits, terrorists now on the run

The regime of President Muhammadu Buhari says rising insecurity across the country is now over.

Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, who disclosed this in Abuja on Monday, during a press conference attended by his colleague-ministers, claimed that terrorists were now on the run.

“We have now put the terrorists, bandits and their like on the run and we will not relent until they have been crushed,” the retired Major General claimed.

“We must also realize that security is the business of everyone, hence the tagline ‘if you see something, say something.

“Terrorists or bandits are not spirits. They are human beings, and some of them reside in our communities. They must all be exposed and crushed for peace to reign,” he added.

Lai Mohammed (Information); Rauf Aregbesola (Interior) and Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi (Police Affairs) are some of the government officials present at the press conference where security agencies were commended for “their sacrifice and patriotism.”
