Buhari, Obasanjo Exchange Greets As Jonathan, Others Attend Council Of State Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday exchanged greetings with former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, despite being at loggerheads.

The greeting took place at the National Council of State Meeting held at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

The duo are at each other’s neck portraying who is more relevant in Nigerian Politics today.

While Obasanjo accused Buhari of planning to rig the forthcoming general election, the president said he will teach the former president a political lesson he won’t forget during his stay on planet earth.

Buhari’s predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan, also attended the meeting which had Abdulsalami Abubakar and Senate President Bukola Saraki in attendance.

The chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mahmood Yakubu, is also at the gathering.
