The rumored impeachment process against United States president, Donald Trump has began.
This is coming days after supporters of the outgoing leader stormed the complex of the U.S capitol to disrupt the confirmation procedures of Joe Biden affirming him the next president.
Mr Trump, whose social media presence has been defaced for inciting the alleged violence which occurred last week, is on the process of being booted out of power before his tenure ends in January 20.
The impeachment process, according to The Cable, began today with democrats in the house of representatives formally introducing the article of impeachment.
The lawmakers reportedly accused him of encouraging the insurrection at the parliamentary arm of government.
He had earlier survived a similar action targeted against him last year before the election that produced Mr Biden as the next leader.
