Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of outgoing Anambra governor, slapped Bianca Ojukwu, wife of ex-Biafra warlord, Odumegwu Ojukwu on Thursday.
The incident occurred at the government house where the inauguration ceremony of Charles Soludo, former governor Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as the new governor of Anambra State was taking place.
Mrs Obiano was said to have approached Mrs Ojukwu who was seated and unleashed a slap on her face, a drama which left the latter shocked.
The assaulter was later whisked away by security agencies present to forestall further breakdown of law and order.
