IPOB speaks on Nnamdi Kanu’s extradition, tells members what to do

The Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB) has confirmed the arrest and extradition of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Mr Kanu who fled the country in 2017 over alleged attempt on his life was extradited back to the country on Sunday, Abubakar Malami, Justice Minister said.

Mr Malami who doubles as the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) said he was brought back to face charges of treasonable felony slammed on him by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Confirming the extradition is Emma Powerful, spokesman of the secessionist group who urged members of the group to mobilise and stormed the Abuja federal high court on July 26 when his trial is scheduled to resume.

IPOB will not relent in the pursuit of Biafra freedom. We have crossed the Rubicon in our struggle for the restoration of Biafran Sovereignty. There is no going back no matter the level of intimidation by our oppressors,” Mr Powerful said in a statement.
