The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rescheduled the 2023 general elections due to the new reworked electoral bill signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The electoral body had earlier fixed February 18, 2023 for presidential election but has now rescheduled it to February 25, 2023.
The chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu while addressing newsmen on Saturday in Abuja said national assembly election will hold same day with the presidential election.
Mr Yakubu also announced that governorship and state assembly elections will now be held on March 11, 2023.
