Ekiti State governor suspended from APC

The All Progressive Congress APC has reportedly suspended the governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.

The suspension was slammed on him by the state executive committee of the ruling party on Friday.

He is accused of anti-party activities where he allegedly supported opposition candidates in governorship elections.

In a statement the party said his anti-party activities were numerous, “especially his role in the recently concluded governorship election in Edo State which is contrary to the provisions of Article 21 (A) (ii) of the APC Constitution.”
