APC spokesman, Akpanudoedehe resigns amid leadership crisis

The spokesman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator John Akpanudoedehe has reportedly resigned from his position on Tuesday.

This is coming a day after it was reported that the chairman of the party’s caretaker committee Governor Mai Buni of Yobe has been ousted and immediately replaced his Niger State counterpart, Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello.

Mr Bello took over the affairs of the party on Monday, swearing in recently elected state chairmen of the party.

Mr Akpanudoedehe’s resignation was separately reported by Blueprint and Vanguard Newspapers.

Top party sources quoted confirmed that the APC scribe has moved all his belongings out of the national secretariat of the ruling party.
