Victor Gaidom, who parades himself as the authentic acting National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has ordered the cancellation of screening of Edo governorship aspirants.
Mr Gaidom gave the order on Wednesday after arriving at the National Headquarters of the ruling party.
The APC helmsman and security agencies took over the party premises, saying the court order which ousted Adams Oshiomhole, gave him the authority to pilot the affairs of the party. This is despite the National Working Committee (NWC) announcing replacement for the position.

He also aspirant will be invited to reappear for screening and ordered the suspension of the National Organising Secretary, Emma Ibediro, while mandating his deputy to assume his position.
