The All Progressive Congress APC) has announced its consensus presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the party named Senate President Ahmad Lawan as the party’s candidate after a meeting of its National Working Committee (NWC) on Monday in Abuja.
Mr Adamu said the choice was after consulting with President Muhammadu Buhari who spoke on the need for the adoption of a consensus candidate.
