Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked another police station in Akwa Ibom State early Saturday morning.
The attackers who stormed Odoro Ikpe Police Station in Ini local government area were said to have killed six police officers on duty.
This is coming a week after a similar situation occurred in Ikono area of the state where two personnel of the force were violently eliminated.
Odiko MacDon, the state police spokesperson did not respond to calls from our reporter as of the time of filing this report.
Ini Ememobong, the state commissioner for information was also not reached for comments.
