The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has dismissed entirety the petition of Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr Abubakar, a former vice president, in challenging the outcome of the February 23 election which produced the president for a second term in office, urged the PEPT to declare him winner of the race.
Dismissing his petition, the presiding judge, Justice Mohammed Garba, who led a five-member panel, said the former vice president failed to show reason why he should be declared winner of the exercise.
The Panel dismissed application of the petitioners ranging from: Academic qualifications of the president, rigging of the election by security agencies, existence of INEC server among others.
