Another police station in Imo State has been attacked by alleged unknown gunmen.
The latest attack on police formations in the state occurred Monday evening after several attacks, including the one at the police headquarters and the prisons headquarters in the state.
About 6 police officers have reportedly lost their lives in the Monday attack at the Okigwe South Local Government Area divisional police command, spokesman of the state command, Orlando Ikeokwu, confirmed.
The latest incident comes two days after an attack on the home of the state governor Hope Uzodinma.
Mr Uzodinma blamed politicians for the attack on his Omuma hometown on Saturday.
