Charles Soludo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the ongoing election floored his major challengers in their local government area.
Mr Soludo, Andy Uba of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are all from Aguata local government area.
Results from the council showed that the APGA candidate scored 9,136 votes while Mr Uba polled 4,773 votes with Mr Ozigbo coming third with 3,798 votes.
The former central bank governor, according to data reviewed by TODAY POLITICS, has won in all the seven local government areas which results have so far been read out by the electoral commission.
