Another Coronavirus disease case has been confirmed in Akwa Ibom State by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Before now, five cases was previously reported but the state government disagreed saying there was no such cases in the state.
The state was included in the new 19 cases of the pandemic disease announced by the NCDC Tuesday evening.
Of the total new cases, Lagos leads with 14 cases, FCT got 2 cases while Kano, Akwa Ibom and Edo states confirmed one case respectively.
Out of the total number of cases, 99 patients have recovered and have been discharged while the death toll rises to 11.
