Akinwunmi Adesina, has been reelected as the president of the African Development Bank (AFDB).
Mr Adesina was reelected by the board of governors of the bank during the virtual annual meeting of the bank in Abidjan yesterday.
Lauretta Onochie, presidential aide to Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, all confirmed and congratulated him.
This is coming months after he was exonerated from corruption allegations at the financial institution.
