Again, police seals APC national secretariat

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has sealed the national secretariat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) again.

This is the second time it is sealing the headquarters of the ruling party currently engulf in leadership crisis. The force had on Tuesday stationed its personnel at the entrance and strategic points of the premises.

Traffic flow into premises was also halted although the force claimed it was there to maintain law and order. Same scenario is also playing out at the secretariat this morning.

As early as 9am, police hilux vans including two 404 Peugeot cars were stationed at the premises. Staff were seen leaving their offices on the orders of the force personnel who directed them to leave the premises.

The National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party is expected to hold today at noon. President Muhammadu Buhari recognized the faction of the party led by Victor Giadom which called for the NEC meeting.

Mr Buhari has indicated interest to attend the gathering scheduled to hold at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
