Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has said Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s President, is not a Nigerian.
This is after Mr Fani-Kayode had earlier described Mr Buhari as an impostor, last year.
In 2017, the outlawed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) began an alleged propaganda against Mr Buhari after he returned from a medical vacation spanning over three months outside the country.
The group said the president Nigerians elected during the 2015 general election is dead as the current one occupying the Aso Rock presidential villa is an impostor from Sudan named Jubril. It said the plot to foist a foreigner on Nigerians was spearheaded by ‘cabals’ in the current administration.
The propaganda gained momentum when former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, asked the president to address Nigerians if indeed he is the one at the helms of affairs. The Nigerian leader debunked the rumor but the former minister has started propagating that the president if from Niger Republic.
He stated this while reacting to the comments of Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who warned some countries against interfering in internal issues of the country as Nigeria is not a colony.
The United States of America (USA), European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) are some of the leading countries who have expressed concerned over the alleged unconstitutional suspension of Walter Onnoghen, embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
The former minister who kicked against the warning of the top APC official described Oshiomhole as slaves in love with their chains.
“…tell Adams that Nig. is a vassal state that has been conquered by her internal colonial masters:our Pres. is not Nigerian but a duck-seller’s son from Niger Republic!” Fani-Kayode said in a tweet on Tuesday.
“Adams Oshiomhole is one of those that can be best described as an accursed slave and a useful idiot.
“And like him,the worst type of slave is the one whose ignorance has blinded him to the fact that he has been enslaved and that happily defends those that have enslaved him,” he added.
