Kamuche Adaora, a popular Nigerian blogger who died four days after celebrating her 36th birthday, has been buried.
Ms Adaora, popularly known as AdaIgbo, until her dead publishes online news portal, Adaigbo.com. She also heads an active social media group with millions of members.
The deceased, who died on February 8th, 2021, coordinates the South-East region of the Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria (GPBN) and was laid to rest yesterday.
A delegation of the body led by Clinton Umeh, publisher of journalist101.com, was present during her burial which took place at her father’s compound.
“AdaIgbo was one of us, she was resourceful, committed and above all, loving,” Mr Umeh said, adding that: “She is a role model to many and an epitome of love. She will be remembered for her pure heart and willingness to help others even when it’s uncomfortable for her.”
