Activist predicts what will happen if Nigeria continues to pardon Boko Haram terrorists

Deji Adeyanju, a political activist, has predicted that Boko Haram terrorists will one overran Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power.

Mr Adeyanju made the prediction on Monday while reacting to what recently happened in Afghanistan on Sunday where the president, Ashraf Ghani, fled the country’s capital, Kabul to Uzbekistan reportedly.

Taliban terrorists in the South Asian country took over the presidential palace unopposed causing chaos with citizens and diplomats fleeing the country.

Reacting, Mr Adeyanju said the Afghans, just like Nigeria is doing, were pardoning most of the terrorists who surrendered on the pretext of repenting.

The administration of Mr Buhari has continued to pardon, rehabilitate and reintegrated those it described as repentant terrorists. Their victims who are Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) are left to their fate.

The Concerned Nigerians convener on Twitter predicted that should the trend continue, Boko Haram terrorists will one day take over the seat of power.

He also said President Muhammadu Buhari will flee with his family if the terrorist approaches Zuba, a community in Gwagwalada Local Government Area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

A military general under the present dispensation once said a member of the terror group might one day become the president of the country.

“If we keep forgiving Boko Haram and bandits, one day terrorists will suddenly take over Aso Rock & the entire country,” the activist said. “This was how the Afghan Govt kept pampering Talibans. And I assure you that Buhari will run away with all members of his family before Boko Haram gets to Zuba.”
