The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 214 new Coronavirus disease cases in the country.
The latest data released Tuesday evening by the disease agency shows that 15 deaths occurred while 127 patients recovered from the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
The new confirmed figure brings the total number of cases to 10819 out of which 3239 have been discharged with the death toll increasing to 314 in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 241 new cases are reported from 14 states – Lagos(142), Oyo(15), FCT(13), Kano(12), Edo(11), Delta(10), Kaduna(9), Rivers(9), Borno(8),Jigawa(4), Gombe(3), Plateau(3), Osun(1) and Bauchi(1).

At the moment, 65,885 samples have been tested while 7,266 are active cases nationwide.
