Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has launched a digital campaign with the aim to raise N5 billion from Nigerians.
This was announced on Tuesday by the deputy director of Special Media Projects/New Media of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bashir Ahmad.
Mr Ahmed shared the donation link of the platform where the former Lagos governor is soliciting for the financial support of Nigerians on Twitter.
When TODAY POLITICS visited the platform launched about four days ago, over N19 million has been raised from over 200 donors, with some of them contributing as little as N1.
Notable among the donors are Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Kashim Shettima, vice presidential candidate of the APC and former Kogi State governor, Audu Abubakar, among several others.
