The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 220 fresh cases of Coronavirus disease in the country.
The new figure announced Saturday night brings the total number of cases nationwide to 2388 out of which 385 cases have been discharged while the death toll increased to 85 in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT).
While 17 deaths occurred as of yesterday, 34 patients recovered from the deadly virus.
The 220 new cases are reported from 19 states: Lagos(62), FCT(52), Kaduna(31), Sokoto(13), Kebbi(10), Yobe (9), Borno(6), Edo(5), Bauchi(5), Gombe(4), Enugu(4), Oyo(4), Zamfara(3), Nasarawa(2), Osun(2), Ebonyi(2), Kwara(2), Kano(2), Plateau(2).
